Mimi knows exactly what her goals are … and she wants to meet them as soon as possible. It’s how she’s wired — and it’s served her just fine over her 25-plus year career in hospitality. From 1994 to 2004, Mimi was at Marriott International, working her way up to Senior Sales Manager. The following year she became a National Account Manager at HelmsBriscoe, then from 2005 to 2006 she was the Area of Director for Extended Stay Hotels. In 2007 she became Director of Sales at Stonebridge Hospitality. Her last stop before McKibbon was at CorpTrav Management Group as the Regional Director of Sales. As Regional Director of Sales & Marketing for McKibbon since 2015, Mimi is a firm believer that when you love the things your brands stand for, selling and marketing them is infinitely easier. So when it comes to generating awareness and brand loyalty for her portfolio of hotels, it feels a lot more like sharing something she loves versus pitching something she sells. Off the clock, Mimi loves spending time with her family, sleeping in whenever she can, and giving back to the community through the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure. Her favorite moment of the day is getting that great big hug from her son when gets home from work. She could be happy anywhere in the world as long as her family is by her side — her family, and her favorite navy blue blazer with pockets (because let’s face it, pockets make almost every outfit better).
